Addressing The Accessible Housing Shortage One Hobby Loft at a Time

It all started when...
Our Founder and Master Builder Adam saw an urgent need in the community for affordable accessible housing.

"How can we help?"
Adam realized this complicated problem needed a creative solution that addressed the needs of everyone involved:
A man in a wheelchair exiting an accessible van to get a tour of the Original Hobby Loft.
People with mobility challenges in need of functional housing
Happy family at their front door.
Regular homeowners looking for creative ways to invest in themselves and others
People of all abilities working in a non profit office
Non-profits looking for solutions to address the accessible housing problem
The 'ah ha' moment!

After a lot of long nights and cups of coffee, the solution became clear: with Alberta cities breaking down barriers to backyard home development, he could help homeowners build barrier-free suites on their existing properties and address the accessible housing shortage at the same time.
